For those who are more experienced or in better physical shape, there are more difficult alternatives such as Camino Antiguo de Cadaqués going all the way to Cabo de Creus, with an estimated duration of 4 hours, considered to be of high difficulty level. Also, if you would like to put your body to the test, you can try the classic starter climb to the top of Gra Fajol through the Northeastern embankment. With some 645 metres high, this route’s approximate duration is of 1 hour 45 minutes, and a distance of 6 kilometres. On a different note, you can also visit the natural park located in the volcanic area of La Garrotxa, where you will find forty different volcanoes covered with vegetation, and the Beech woods of En Jordà, a unique location where you will find a forest of Beech trees growing on top of volcanic lava.


Ski resorts
